Related din pala sa health ito.
Eto ang portion ng book na binabasa ko kasalukuyan. Na hopefully makakatulong sa atin lahat. Sa mga makakabasa nito. Thanks sa online book. -------------------------------------------------- Chapter Three - Healthy and Energised The Feel Good Factory on Healthy Living:Vitality-Boosting, Mouth-Watering, Time-Saving Ways to Get Healthy for Life by Elisabeth Wilson Infinite Ideas © 2009 Citation Feel rich True wealth, both in terms of personal and financial wealth, comes from valuing who you are rather than how much you have deposited in the bank. All the money in the world won’t buy you happiness. Do you remember all those lottery winners who won millions and then lost it all? All the money in the world couldn’t make them rich. What if you could work out what you were worth that wasn’t based on your financial net worth but was based on your life net worth? This exercise comes from a book called Money Magic, written by Deborah L. Price. In your notebook answer the following questions: How old are you? How many life hours have you spent? That’s your age (I’m 46) times 365 (days in the year) times 24 (hours in the day). For example, I have spent 402,960 life hours. It certainly puts a different perspective on things when you look at your life in the context of the number of hours you’ve lived. How have you spent your time? Your answer to this question can include a list of all the things you’ve done in your lifetime that make you feel good about who you are and the things you have done that have been meaningful to you. This is not about the things you have. Next, make a list of all the things you would still like to do that would continue to give you great fulfilment and satisfaction. Finally, how many days are you currently spending towards meeting these personal goals? Once you feel you have a near enough complete list, spend several minutes really taking in what you’ve written. How do you feel about your list? How does it feel when you look at the number of hours of your life that you’ve already spent? Does it make you more discerning now about how you will spend your time and money in the future? Are you really getting to live the life you want or is the way you’re spending your time actually robbing you of this? Your self-worth cannot be measured by your net worth This exercise stretches you to consider and appreciate your worth beyond the trappings of your financial identity. You can be on the brink of bankruptcy and feel hope when you see how you have spent your time. Conversely, you can be wealthy but realise that you aren’t spending your time in a way that is leading you towards your goals. Learn to value the time that’s been spent and the time left to you. With this exercise you consciously decide how you will spend it. Whatever you have gone through, you still have your whole life ahead of you. What really matters is how you see yourself beyond what you earn. Hold on to the thought that your self-worth cannot be measured by your net worth. This recognition actually can result in more money flowing to you. And as Marlene Dietrich said: ‘There’s a difference between earning a great deal of money and being rich’. ---------------------------------------- Feel rich instantly Start a gratitude journal. Every day, write down three things that you appreciate and value from your day. Include the small incidents in your day, such as someone offering you a seat on a packed commuter train, or the bus driver who let you out on a very busy junction. Go from the least obvious to the most obvious. Soon you will reach the stage where you feel immensely grateful and successful for simply waking up in your own bed. ----------------------------------------

In my humble opinion sir.
Hindi rin naman para sa first world ang sinabi ng author ng book. Kahit anong world pa ang isang bansa. 2nd or third world. Sooner or later, tayo'y magiging first world narin. I'm sure. Pasensiya na sa long post...
