Default BikeGlow Beacon Safety Light : Integrated Frame Light and Tail Light

This light incorporates the top selling and critically needed electroluminescent BikeGlow frame light with a high quality, integrated tail light. The entire unit, including the connectors, is waterproof, and has been tested in sub zero and over 110 degree temperatures. The Tail light can be disconnected and brought with you when you leave your bike.
Our team has been working on this bike lighting project for 3 years. We were very dissatisfied with the lack of “Additional Bike Lighting” that was being made to help riders be seen from the side, without looking hokey. After many iterations, we’ve finally landed on the design that passes all of our criteria, and that riders truly appreciate. Our patent is done, and we are ready to manufacture.
The BikeGlow® Beacon Safety Light is designed to be affordable and easy to use. It uses electroluminescent technology to wrap a bright glowing light around the frame, creating a large area of light to BE SEEN from the side. The 2 AA battery power unit now doubles as a high quality 4 LED tail light. While providing a high quality, waterproof light system, we made sure we were staying at an affordable price. The prototype works through thick and thin on every type of bike we’ve tested, including kids bikes and recumbent bikes. The entire unit will retail for just under $35.
With the prototype now complete, we are calling on biking enthusiasts of the world to help us fund the manufacturing of the final units. We have a solid relationship with our small electronics manufacturer. We have the structure in place to warehouse the product and fulfill orders. All we need is the beginning capital to manufacture the first batch, and we are all set to provide this much needed safety lighting to bike riders of all kinds, any bike size and shape. Imagine the bikes of the world safely, beautifully lit up at night.
Back this project! A**Kickstarter campaign is currently underway to raise capital for the first production run.
