SPY pulls away from the pack with the Rivet

CARLSBAD, Calif.—The cycling world has been waiting on the edge of its saddle—well technically, the rivet on the edge of its saddle—and now we can all rejoice; the Rivet has arrived. This newest edition to SPY’s fast-growing performance line boasts a semi-rimless hybrid frame, unique design technology and leading-edge styling. Engineered for every facet of a long tour, the Rivet offers a convertible ride with more options than a Belgian ale house.

Constructed to handle the hottest sweat-soaked rides and punishing inclimate weather, the Rivet features SPY’s patented Scoop® venting system; impact resistant, optically-correct, distortion-free 8-base ARC® (Accurate Radius Curve) lenses; anti-fog technology; and hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings to keep vision clear even in the most gritty and grimy of conditions. Fashioned from flexible Grilamid™, this performance piece has environmentally reactive Hytrel™ rubber temple tips; integrated hinge system; available glare-reducing premium Trident™ polarized lenses; and UVA, UVB and UVC protective treatments.

Hitting stores at $95 to $135 MSRP, the Rivet is available in black, black polarized, crystal, matte black, silver and smoke frame colors. Replacement Rivet lenses come in select colors and range from $20 for non-polarized to $40 for polarized versions.
