i had RST Storm Super 180mm works well on small bumps, light and heavy trails. Also tested in rocky trails. Yummy. And in Antenna Downhill, did jumps, but not aggressive :)

just dont forget to clean the fork, specially in stanchion kasi na-scratch ung stanchion ng storm ko, nakuskos ng alikabok, maybe. gumagana pa naman. :)

recommended ng LBS. bought rst storm air 160 at kings 3 mo ago. after a month of use may sag na, then 3 mo, busted oil seals. di ko na magamit compression dial kasi pag binabaan ko compression after every ride meron oil sa right stanchion tube which is not good for air forks, will cause sealant problems according sa nabasa ko sa isang magazine.

saan po meron service center ng air forks dito sa pinas? may nakakaalam po ba kung saan yung "dan's"? they service forks according to a bike mech on global craze. di din ako sure sa name ng service center. your replies will be highly appreciated!

guys, pahingi nmn ako ng insight nyo dito sa problem ko sa fork ko ngayon… Its an RST Storm 160mm Air…

di ko alam kung may butas o may adjustment problem lang… bumababa kc sya to the point na one inch na lang yung travel nya…

then after a while tumataas na naman uli to its full travel… pag sinasakyan/nira-ride lang sya bumababa…

thanks in advance sa mga advises nyo.!... ^_^

hello mga sirs, im planning on getting an RST storm fork sana.

may tanong lang sana ako, is the fork travel adjustable internally? frame ko kasi now supports max a 140mm fork and I checked sa site, my 140mm storm available. staka, may 160mm at 180mm.

Can I adjust its travel or the travel options are specific poh? Just in case kasi i will find myself a 160mm fork travel frame in the future para iwas gastos na on my end.

also, saan kaya makakita nang cheapest storm fork? is there a huge difference regarding the storm coil and the air?

Hello mga sirs, baka may RST storm user here who has measured the axle to crown measurement of the fork at a 160mm setting? wala kasi ako makitang info about it online eh.

I have a cannondale moto carbon frame kasi and the a2c is rather specific at 545mm. was wondering if the rst has the same axle to crown measurement.

UPDATE:

Base sa aking pagsukat gamit ang medida… ang axle to crown measurement nya ay:

54cm or 540mm

About right sir, i had a seller too measure his RST storm and its about the same. 21 inches di po bah? Salamat sir rampage. Looks like im stuck to either a MArzocchi 55 and the Fox 36 series for my frame. need ko kasi 545mm eh so far un lang ang sakto sa A2C measurement. Gusto ko sana TAD na durolux pero 570mm din naman ung A2c which is about an inch more or less in length. sabog ang geo ata nun hehe frame is a Cannondale moto carbon 1

Durolux? if we are basing on the info in their website, 570mm goes for all of their durolux forks. Did make me wonder how a 180 and a 160mm fork have the same axle to crown when adjusted.

ugh why cant they just make an international standard for this that everyone can follow.

I have a Durolux adjusted to 160 mm from 180 mm, I haven't measured it but lowering the travel by 20 mm will shorten A2C height of course. I found this article on the Durolux (see link below). Take a look at the comments section. It's for an older RC2 model with a 565 mm A2C, but you get the idea.

Wow i am a complete idiot. maybe i got things confused kasi lagi ako puyat but it turns out with rampages measurements, pede pala tong rst storm sa cannondale moto carbon 1 frame ko. it turns out +5, -5 in axle to crown to the recommended setting. it requires a 545mm axle to crown and his measurements is 540mm. the tech site did say to measure including the headset cup so thats about another 5mm.

perfect. Thanks rampage! lagi ko kasing iniccip is 555mm >_< sira talaga!

As for the durolux! thanks sir Rayus, 545mm din pala ang durolux when wind down to 160. now at least there are many forks that work for the frame. i wish suntour corrects their site soon. para hindi tayo malito hehe.
