hello to all mtbiker.

newbie here kya eng-eng p. pacyensa na. just want to ask infinity users if trail worthy nba un frame with santour vct 100mm fork. same maker dw cya ng vision, so geometry is almost the same. also would the generic frames/spokes/quando/2.1 tires would be ok for doing sidewalk drops in the city heheh. im heavy at 5'10".85 kgs (and decreasing due to this hobby). my first goal is for excercise and recreation only. but now iba na..

mabigat dn cia, kc n ntry ko un ryder bike with 32 holes ryder rim/hub at 1.95 nevegal ng tropa and its lighter to pedal. pro ok un sakin pra lumakas.

2 of my friends uses infinity built bikes
we've only been to light trails and their bikes never had problems (bikes equiped with shimano non-series and altus parts)
since you're 5'10 I'd recommend getting a size 19 frame and get a helmet too

yeah medyo maliit nga frame. skid s likod. ive adjusted the seat post backwards and lowered the bars and rotate it pra humaba ng konti at mka 45-60 degrees sitting. my cheap helmet n freebie skin. ok muna un till i built one more.

Infinity MTB owner here. Bang for the buck yung bike even in its stock form. I'm from Cabuyao Laguna and so far here are the places I've been with my bike: Tagaytay, U.P. Los Banos and Pila Laguna. Not sure if MTBikers can really call them as "trails" kasi lahat yun sa national highway ang daan. :-D

I'm just wondering if I can equip this bike with a 29" wheels? 6'1" kasi height ko and weighing in at 82KG.. Parang BMX kasi tignan kapag gamit ko yung bike even if it has a 26" wheel. hehe!

Infinity Frame Are Trail Worthy..that's My Bike Frame...vector X-10 Yun Sa Akin...unang Labas Ng Infinity..nadala Ko Na Ito Sa Licao Licao 2x Na ..sa Timberland And Sierra Madre Via Sumulong Hway..tagaytay ..and Gamit Ko Ito For Bike Commute Din..matibay Siya At Magaan..just Upgrade Other Parts Like Forks Na Magaan..cranks And Rims..

nope hindi puwede palitan ng larger wheels designed kasi talaga yung frame and fork for 26" only.

btw alam ko may 29er din ang infinity, upgrade ka na lang.

Sir baka maliit yung frame mo? Kung 6'1 ka, dapat sana 20 or 21 inches ang sukat ng frame mo. That way, hindi magmumukhang bmx yung MTB mo even at your height. Lumiliit talaga tingnan yung bike kapag sinasagad yung height ng seatpost, to compensate yung maliit na frame relative to our height.

generic lng un nkita ko sir. 500 php ata. Nsync b.u.m. 27.2. my travel ata na 2". heavy kc wetpaks ko at lubak lubak roads dto manila.
pros: alloy, cheap, comfortable at effective if u forgot to stand up, very good s lower back.
cons: 3times heavier s stock seatpost,cguro dhil s coil spring s loob
pero i dont mind, parang 1 ltr of water lng un considering the comfort it gives to me.

... is there someone here who has an "infinity atlas" frame at 5.8k lighter cya kaysa s infinity italia. can u give us some feedback. trail performance,fork travel recommendation?

I have this infinity Italia 29er, it weighs at 30-31 pounds, alivio group set, shimano non-series, wtb 29er rims, Kenda slant six 2.0. Bought it at cartimar.

Hindi naman ako nadulas sa cardiac coffee trail. Umuulan pa nung nagtrail kami. Semplang
Lang ako dun sa may kalabaw harang Kasi sa Daan kala ko madaanan. Hehehe.

@redstar1128: Thanks sa advice sir! Wala kasi talaga ako idea sa tamang pagpili ng sukat sa MTB before, maliban sa mga nababasa ko dito sa forum. Budget is also my #1 concern.. hehe! Kaya nung in-offer sa akin ni Kings yung Infinity for 10K as my entry level MTB eh kinuha ko na.. At ngayong na-hook na talaga ako dito eh yung next purchase ko will be more customized and fit na sa aken.

Next siguro na papalitan ko ay handle grip, dumudulas na kasi yung stock handle grip after almost 3 months of use.

Infinity (frame) bike user here.
ang natira na lang sa built bike dati is yung frame.
yung bike ko oks naman sa trail. bale sa fort boni mtb trail and aguinaldo lang.

IMHO. ok yung geometry niya. mas ok siya kesa dun sa Alite150 ko na binenta ko na din.

I suggest sticking to 100mm or lower travel, hirap ng 120mm sa steep climbs bigla na lang umaangat ang gulong sa unahan
