Question mountain bike with rigid fork?

Naka XCR Suntour fork ako ngayon. After four years, lumabas ang problema nito.

Thank you.

uy...rigid. maninibago ka sa handlebar and bb height, lalo kung hindi suspension corrected ang fork na makuha mo. other than that....siguro yung vibration ng kalsada eh maninibago ka.

check mo pala kung kasya ang current tires mo sa ikakabit mong rigid fork. pati pala brakes, baka mamaya v-brake or disc brake compatible but not both.

paps froilanr,

dati kasi naka XCR ako then binenta ko P1500 6months ko nagamit, nag upgrade to epicon para mas magaan bike.. then na curious ako kung ano mangyayari if pagaanin ko bike ko at hindi naman sobrang mahal na setup..

from 14kilos nagging 9.7 kilograms bike ko using rigid setup with 1x10 - ang gulo noh? pang trails ang 1x10 eh, 26x1.75 tires

naka mosso rigid forks and mosso 2608TB frame ako

Ok.

at para gumaan pa ipadyak at matulin sa road - gagamit na lang ako ng 1.5 slick tires as i'm presently using a 1.95 and 2.1 tires.

saw a lot of rigid-forked mtbs up on Mt. Maarat (mac mahones)
after getting enough funds, interested in buying
one of the most popular fully rigid trail Mtb's - Jones Bike.

My two MTB's, a 29er and a 26er convertible to 69er, are both rigid. I'm using Mosso forks. The tire sizes are 2.2 and 2.1, respectively.

Please check this rigid thread.

when i've built my new ht, i'll be converting my existing ht to a hybrid with rigid and slick for road use - habang wala pakong pambili ng road/cx bike.

problem is, i don't think there are suspension corrected forks anywhere... mosso m5 still isn't suspension corrected as far as 29ers are concerned

ive built my second (MTB) bike from used parts... only thing i bought new is the rigid fork! it is just usefull as it is functional, honestly i'm more enjoying it than my Giant HT/Fox! which i only use for trails 2/3x a month. with rigid-power is delivered more directly specialy in climbs!

Orbea HT frame (repainted to matte gray)
MOSSO Rigid Fork-disc/v-brake comp. (repainted to matte gray)
Shimano STX 7speed components (mech disc brakes)
Traction Flat HB with ESI Foam Grips
Wellgo pedals 293grams
MAXXIS Detonator 1.5 tires (Rear)
MAXXIS Larsen 1.9 tires (front)
...everything else GENERIC!

from Pasig
2 trips to tagaytay
3 trips to san fernando pampanga
once a month ride to Parañaque/Las Pinas
3/4 days of mangga/antipolo church

so far enjoying it

Thank you ulit sa info na ito. Malaking tulong.

2. Sa Wells; Mosso; P2,300.00
3. Arjan (sa me crossing); Kristel 7005 (with disc break option din); P1,700.00

Umiwas na kayo sa XCR SR Suntour as much as possible, hindi matibay!

http://www.bikerumor.com/2015/01/12/...ctual-weights/

astig! kaya lang siempre pricey sya, 10k.

Just sold my fork Epicon (15mm TA Tapered 100mm travel) recently and got a carbon rigid fork instead Hayun, gumaan ang padyak ko at masarap na sa akyatan. Ok din sya sa trails (hard pack and not so technical single track) pero you have to choose your line and have to lessen the tire pressure para smooth ang ride.

I also have 2 MTB, and one is a full rigid rig. I bike to work and use the said full rigid MTB as my work horse. Honestly, I enjoy using the same than my Suspension fork-Hard tail MTB.
