30k budget bike

saan po kayo bumili? Did you order from a local shop? Sana meron pwede magship dito sa amin sa CDO.

If you are around 5'7" or taller, consider also the 09 Fuji Tahoe Comp 29er at under 30k, (SRAM X-5, Avid BB5, Rockshox Dart)

If you're a newbie and/or don't have a bike yet, I suggest buy a built bike.

With your budget, you could get a better rig. At, magagamit mo na kaagad.

Search kapa dito sa forum sir, may mga ganito na kasing thread. Ganyan din budget ko, magandang hardtail na yan sir. Medyo mapapamura ka pag built.

suntour xcr fork w/ rlo
vision (stem, hb, seatpost and saddle) or amoeba (stem, hb and grip handle)

kasya na jan yung 25k as far as i know basta isang tindahan lang and huggle for the price para pumasok sa budget.

get a built bike dahil for sure pagtagal tagal magkakasakit ka din ng upgraditis ... mas makakamura ka kase pag built kesa buy ka ng parts by parts

wala sa magandang parts yan.. nasa pumapadyak yan..

try mo makasabay ng construction workers na commuter tapos mall bikes gamit.. iiwanan ko lang ng mga yun..

pag built/mall bike madali kang magkakasakit ng upgraditis. lalo ka lang mapapagastos pag parts by parts makakapamili ka ng gusto mo. I've been there, mas lalo akong napagastos dahil hindi ako satisfied sa nabili kong mall bike hanggang sa ibinenta ko at bumili ako by parts

in terms of quality naman boss? what brand will you recommend? i've been thinking about Giant Rincon, Merida Matts 20-MD, or GT Avalanche 3.0

sir i don't think mall bikes and built bikes would be synonymous. . .


i suggest get a built bike from giant or merida as they provide the best bang for your buck as they manufacture their own frames unlike spesh and trek. get the best that your budget could afford. . . which usually means spending for the highest priced bike in the range. . . usually.

My budget was P20k only. And, I was able to buy a P15k built bike. It's a 09 KHS Alite 150. After about 8 months of using and abusing her, I'm thinking of upgrading her. My other option is to build another.

25k is good enough whether it be a built or assembled bike. But before anything else I think you should ask your bike friends or the pmtb experts here in the forums. The advantage of built bikes pede mo na sakyan after buying it. But IMHO lang and based from experience also. Assembling a bike is better and cheaper in the long run. Mag set ka lang ng amount like e.g 25K and go around that budget. Mejo kailangan lang ma tiyaga ka lang maghanap ng parts. You can also go to Quiapo for cheap parts or you can visit the trade central forum. Dami naman second hand parts that are in good condition and you can haggle with the price.

Good day, I'm looking for an XC hardtail built bike with at least Deore-level drivetrain and Epicon-level fork. Initial budget is around 28k but can be stretched to 35k if needed.
The shops I called suggested the following:

Jamis Durango 2 - 33k
Jamis XC sport - 33k
Giant Innova Disc - 35k
KHS Alite 1000 - 31k
Mongoose Canaan Elite - ??
Mongoose Amasa Super - ??

Also, where can I find the following:

Merida Matts TFS XC 800D and 700D
Merida Matts TFS Trail 700D and 400D
And how much are these?
