kung 'di ka pihikan, KHS, GTS, Scott, knock off na Spez M5 and knock off na Schwinn MOAB. Mura ang mga yun, dati 2.5K yata, pero have a budget of around 3.5K.
support 2nd hand parts muna para makamura if you want a 9 speed setup ![]()

Hi folks,
Maybe you got suggestions - I'm looking to buy a light for a 17"-18" hardtail for climbing. Particularly scoping out frames with lowered top tube, like in ladies bike frame. My purpose for that is I like to avoid hitting the top tube on sudden stops or when I really have to get off the bike...really hurts when that happens. I know there techniques to avoid this but I'd really like to have a frame that will help me avoid that in the future (got to take care of the jewels you know). ![]() Got suggestions sirs? I got 10k to spend, u tink i can get a light yet reliable enough frame for rugged XC riding for this amount? Thanks in advance,

as Tolits mentioned in his post, pinakasulit ang 2nd hand 17" XTC/XTC Team frame... i was able to sell mine before for 9k, pasok budget...
if you want a low top tube, look for a 2nd hand KHS Alite 4000, price is within that range too...

Yeah! The Merida TFS 900 is not a bad buy..
Most of the time, sloping hardtail frames are for dirt jumps, 4X and what not.. Almost all XC frames have high top tubes.. Just go with a size 16 frame..

Hi guys!
Just to update I was looking at KHS and others but could get that Vision pursuit '08 out of my mind...really looks good. I suspect my girlfriend who has a merida juliet did a jedi mind trick on me I think...she was suggesting Vision frame a few days before just for the look of it ![]() I don't know if this was sound reasoning, but i purchased the Vision and will just upgrade my fork. If i wasn't able to cut down on the frame weight im using the money saved on a lighter fork. On a side/last note, coz its OT already, you tink RST air forks have durable seals at all? Or are there reliable air forks(or anything light, I just thought of air) for 6k? Just sharing my story...thanks all!

Good day! I'm a newbie at mountain-biking and i happened to pass by sabak last week and i saw the KHS XC-004... I really liked it and I was thinking of getting it, but I want to have feedback regarding it first... I'm planning on getting a bike which I will use mainly for open roads, and a little trail too. will this be a fit for me?
ANY type of feedback will do! I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

The KHS XC-series share the same frame but vary in component spec and included rear shock. I believe that the KHS XC-004 is a very good entry-level bike but the frame is upgrade-worthy and will definitely serve your intended purpose and riding requirements. I have personally seen the KHS bikes available at Sabak (Makati). The XC-004 has a coil shock while the XC-604 has a Rock Shox air shock. At around 25k-30k, the XC-004 is indeed a sweet bargain!
![]() Just visit Sabak and make sure you get fitted to the right size for your height. Oh, by the way, the KHS XC-604 won MBUK's full-susser grouptest! Check it out: http://www.khsbikes.co.uk/MBUK-UK.pdf And here's a similar thread on what PMTB riders have to say: http://www.pinoymtbiker.org/forum/sh...ight=grouptest

![]() Anyway, Sabak offers the XC-604 (modified build) at a sale price of 60k (from 70+k sticker price). It's got a RockShox Ario 2.1 rear shock and a Fox fork. Yes, Fox fork! The KHS XC-604 comes in white only. (Nakasabit sya kaya hindi gaanong kita). The other KHS XC-series built bikes come in red and dark blue and cost somewhere in the 30k vicinity..
