Fellow runners/tri's,
Are you using pedometers or pacers? Can you share your gear and product review in this thread? Thanks.

I was using a Bench Pedometer watch before which I bought at a sale in Megamall. It also has a pacer. Pedometers should be okay FOR AS LONG AS you set the length of each of your steps correctly. Problem is, there are times when you will stride longer than other days, and that's when problems come in. Keep in mind that pedometers count the number of steps based on the sway of your arms, when you don't move or sway your arms when running, then it won't count. ![]() Deo P.

I've never used one so I dont think I can help Yan ba yung to count your steps per minute? I only try to maintain a 90rpm turnover so I just count right-1-2-3-right-1-2-3 simple and it keeps my mind off the extreme pain in my knee hehe

I used to use a Nike+ Sportsband. The tolerance in distance is +-10%.
So it means a 10K route can measure either 9K on one day or 11K on another. I now use Garmin Forerunner 305. So far, it hasn't been off by more than 1% or 10m for every 1K. Besides that, I can hop on my bike and it doubles as a cyclocomputer and plot where I rode or ran afterwards.
