Default Merida Trans-Mission 3000D with DHX air??

Just want to know if I can put a DHX air on my merida trans-mission.My current shock is the fox float rp23 with 130mm of travel.I am curious because when i visited the website of fox i saw all sizes of the dhx/dhx air, then i measured the length of my float rp23 it measured 7.5 x 2.0 inches-the smallest size of the DHX/DHX air..Does this mean it is compatible??The eye to eye length is 7.5 x 2.0 inches by the way whats the stroke??

so yung 7.5 is the i2i, the stroke is 2.0, this is in inches.

meron kasing shocks that has 7.5 i2i but has 1.5" stroke. this is the measure of how much the shock will/can compress. you might want to get a shock with the same i2i and stroke that's the same with what's currently installed in your frame.

piggy back naman....wait

heto ang itsura ng shock na walang piggyback

heto ang merong piggyback

kung ano ang silbi ng piggyback...kay google mo na lang itanong, he he he.

mukhang AM siya, due to the fork travel specc'd.

at dahil dun.....it's definitely made with taller riders in mind, hence the bigger sizes.

and 4X, as i understand it...does not necessarily mean having/doing jumps.

If you're slapping on a 100mm fork on the frame, why not set your eye on a frame designed around a 100mm travel fork, like the matts lite or the tfs series. . . sayang naman yun extra 20mm travel na pwede sa trail series. . . yun iba nga na trail/am frame users pinipilit na mas mahaba than recommended yun travel.

now, if you like the looks of the frame, and temporarily putting on your existing 100mm fork and will be going 120 later on. . . ok naman with no problems AFAIK.
