I think most road frames will only fit up to 700x25 (some less). But if for commuting or cyclocross. There are much bigger. I saw Kenda in All Terra and WTB in Wilke for 700x35.

Most wide I've seen myself dito sa 'Pinas would be the Schwalbe Big Apple (28x2.00/700x50c/50-622 'ata) and Marathon (same size).
Widest I've bought would be a pair of Maxxis Overdrives OPP/PPP (28x1.60/700x40c/42-622) which nahanap ko sa mga over-runs/OEM/NOS sa stockpile/storage area ng Paulina's in Cartimar for 700 pesos only. Ewan ko lang kung mayroon pa sila ganung mga halu-halong products na nakatambak as of now.

pasawsaw naman po...
will 700 x 35c tire (intended for cyclocross) fit on a shimano r500 wheelset... it say's in their website, it can accomodate upto 28c tire... does that mean, hindi talaga puede... well i guess it will be too late now... parating na yung mga pinabili ko. (r500 wheelset and continental cyclocross race 35c)

ayun na nga....
r500 wheelset with 35c continental cyclocross speed tire... ilalagay sana sa hybrid SS/Fixie set up ko eto naging problem nung nabuo ko.. #1 - frame: rear wheelset did not fit on the frame... frame was intended for SS hubs (threaded) not on 9-speed hubs na tulad nung sa wheelset, in short kailangan pa-bukain ang rear triangle (which is not advisable) #2 - cantilever brakes - sumayad yung gulong.... tsk tsk.... next time bili na lng ng new frame.... (thinking of on one pompetamine) ![]()
