Default Sa ayaw at sa gusto natin: Hihinto rin tayo (stop)

Ito ay opinion ko lang mga sirs.

Sa ilang health books at online reading na nagawa ko. Patunkol sa healthy lifestyle. Naisip kong i post ito.

Darating at darating din ang time na bibigay ang lupang katawan na ito. Wala naman forever living (hindi tayo immortal body). Eka nga.

Si Mr. Jack LaLanne (nabasa ko siya sa isang book na binili ko). Very inspiring at impressing ang lakas niya. Body builder. Siya ay American. Pero at the age of 96 yata. Huminto rin ang health fitness niya. Bumigay ang katawan. At namatay din. Please si this article kung kayo ay interested ->

Eto si Mr. Zig Ziglar na very discipline sa katawan. Sa kanya ako na inspired na mag-walk, run and physical exercise. Kasama talaga sa pag-asenso or See You at the Top! ang regular na pag-e-exercise. Isa siyang mentor at great speaker. Namatay yata siya at the age of 86. Pero ito ang link kung again gusto niyo siyang malaman ->

Marami pang American na pino-promote ang healthy lifestyle. Na mas-na-unang pinanganak sa atin. Na humaba ang life at healthy. Pero namatay narin.

Kaya ang naisip ko. Habang malalakas pa tayo. Tayo'y patuloy na mag-bike, run, jog, walk or punta sa gym! Kasi hihinto (stop) din ang activities na mga ito. Kapag na-appoint na tayo sa Itaas (sa lumalang ng langit at lupa - God).

yup, there would come a time.. matitigok din tayo.. pero i'd rather die doing what I love doing.. at di hirap.. kesa mamatay ka na puro sakit at maraming nakaturok sa katawan

Ang kapatid ng lolo ng asawa ko (lolo pa rin) died when he was hit by a jeep when he was riding his bike. He was 92. It was a sad ending but he died doing what he always did -- not a helpless invalid.

you lose what you don't use

kaya marami retiree biglang humihina katawan. pag puro relax lang masama rin.

at any rate, ang pinakamasarap na pahinga eh pag pagod na pagod ka after a long ride di ba? Ice cold beer never tasted so good than when shared after a ride.

my uncle died 2 months ago & he is a health buff, remember burry stander champion na cyclist at that but he died in a tragic accident. eventually talagang pag oras na ng isang tao goodbye na talaga, kaya habang nabubuhay tayo let us enjoy life here in on earth, God,family & biking. Ride Safe mga Sir.

Salamat sa inyong mga inputs and shares dito sir. Talagang isa sa napakagandang web forum site ang PMTB. Marami kang matututunan talaga. Para sa pag-improve ng lifestyle at life. At isa pa puro share share sa kani kanilang (mga members) opinions and knowledge/wisdom. Kaya masaya at maganda. Keep it up! Mga sirs.

Si Sir anthrax parang nagsalita ng German language or ano kayang ibig sabihin nun?

Kanina pinilit kong nag-bike kasi nahinto ng mga 1 week ang physical activities (run, jog and bike). Tinutulungan ko kasi ang nanay ko na meron ng highblood. At the age of 70 na siya. Kahit mga 12 kilometers lang, pero tuloy tuloy ang padyak ko. Umabot ako ng mga 38 minutes. Salamat pinawisan ulit. Masaya na ako. Kasi nakapag-bike na. Then nakapag-exercise pa.

Pa off-topic:
Kanina kumuha ako ng LOA sa isang hospital dito sa amin. Para mag-pa-check-up sa blood sugar, cholesterol at iba pa. Mahirap na kasi baka matulad ako sa nanay ko at tatay. Yung tatay ko medyo papunta na sa highblood. Pero nag-e-exercise (run) siya, para bumaba.

The body is not the only thing you have to keep healthy and maintain. Here are the areas that needs much attention and their needs to make them functioning properly:

- Body - exercise (mostly aerobic, then strength, then flexibility), proper food.

- Mind/Intellect - reading, puzzles, games like chess/go/etc,

- Emotion - Loving and caring for someone like your GF, wife, children, parents, even pets

- Social - caring and taking time to talk, interact with other people outside your family. For example, your neighbors, community, fellow bikers, etc. A good dose of weekly rides, or bonding with others.

- Spiritual - going to church, reading religious books and attending ceremonies, rites, etc.

- Others - indulging in other hobbies or interest that is far from what you normally go for. Something that might tax your imagination or artistic bent or some other facets of you that are weak or you normally don't go for. Eg. gardening, collecting stamps, photography,videography, writing, etc. If possible, something you are weak at or not as good. Public speaking if you are not into talking much. Or gardening if you don't have a green thumb. Painting if you are not into art.

ang problem kasi, i think, ang formula ng Quality of Life para sa mga tao ay nakasentro sa pera. More money = happiness. Unfortunately, maraming trade off nangyayari pag eto formula mo .... unang una health mo nadadali, or quality time with family. siyempre dapat kumayod at magtrabaho, pero pag sobra sobra na, babawian ka rin.

Quality of Life = Money x Overall WellBeing x Relationship Quality x Meaning

Aaaaaand, if you think about, lahat naman yan may impact din sa pera ....
- pag nagkasakit ka, di ba ang laki rin ng magagastos mo? kumayod ka buong buhay mo, tapos uubusin mo lang sa gamot at hospital pag tanda mo?
- kailangan mo palagi mag 'shopping therapy' mag di ka masaya. bili dito, bili dun, kailangan latest iPhone o ano man. nung high school tayo at walang ka pera pera, masaya naman tayo ah
- pag wala kang oras sa pamilya, minsan babawiin mo sa pagbibigay ng pera or regalo. kaya nga raw hindi na nakakaipon mga OFW di ba, kasi may guilt trip sila na wala sa pamilya kaya pag-uwi ayon bongga libre, hanggang maubos ang inipon at kayod uli


ang nakakatawa din minsan, kung ano ano gagastusin para i maintain ang kotse (oil change, car wash, detailing, etc etc) tapos sariling katawan ayaw pagtuunan ng pansin ...

Napakaganda ng mga nai-share mo sir.

Kailangan talaga ang pakikipag-social at spiritual na bagay. Para makatulong ito sa ating buhay.

Kailangan natin ang friends and family. At siempre ang mga neighbhors.

Kapag nag-pray tayo at nag-si-simba. Malaki rin tulong ang mga ito. Lalo na alam nating meron isang gumagabay sa atin. Sa lahat ng kailangan natin. Ang Diyos...

Totoo ito sir. Akala ng tao. Noon pang unang-unang panahon. Na pera ang magbibigay ng tunay na kasiyahan sa tao. Pero hindi pala.

Meron talagang taong na-nag-fo-focus sa business masyado. Yumayaman pero napapabayaan ang health.

but it's not so much the destination, rather the journey that will bring us there - so similar to cycling.
