Better invest on a reputable hub.

^Conical Paps, won't go to that detail. Mabait naman kausap yung seller. I think the problem is really the product.

Must be my way of riding. But still, hayst. . . hehe! (moving on. . .)
Yun ay sa-akin lang naman. Ang dami-dami ng naka-AEST eh.
I still consider the idea na dalawang lemon yung natapat sakin.

Nagpalit nalang ako ng datmoor, yung talagang pambaragan. =)

si JEZ474: Sorry to hear about your AEST conicals. At twice pa nangyari. :(

hmmmm...
hassle kasi magpalit ng bearings... tapos sa long ride pa bibigay...

just got curious last sunday. nag timbang ako ng super light, iba na pala decals niya kesa sa dati na nagamit ko. mine weighted 415 grams. yung natimbang ko last sunday, 397grams. kung hindi lang talaga maraming palyado at lemon, sulit na ito sa mga lightweight riders at pure XC ang gagawin.

AEST HUB UPDATE.

After 1 year and closely 4 months.
2,300 KM's ride

Bumigay na ang AEST rear hub ko. Rear lang.

SYMPTOMS:
3. There is something like a crumbling sound pag nagffreewheel ka.

SOLUTION:
"Bearing Hub yan. Bumili ka ng rubber sealed bearing. Size 6902. Tirahin natin to."

At ganon na nga ang nangyare.

2. Binaklas.
3. Yung stock bearing ng hub, is rubber sealed. Brand: NBK, size: 6902 RS
4. Nakabili ako ng replacement sa:

United Bearing Sta. Cruz Mla.)
BRAND: NTN Japan Rubber Sealed bearings
108 pesos each.

BEARING PRICE: 108 * 4 = 432 pesos
FARE: 17 * 2 = 34
LABOR: 150

TOTAL COST: 616 petot (Less the drinks and the labor tip)

VERDICT: not bad. nakatipid pa rin ako ng ilang rides considering na umabot ako ng 2000+ KM's using this hubs, in a year and 4 months. And ang maintenance ko is 616 pesos lang. All in all... panalo pa rin (atleast) para sakin ang HUBS na to. :)

150 labor + 100 tip.

So far so good...rear hub lang din.

Bumping this thread.

Bought 4 x NSK 6902 - 100 ea for rear hub
and 2 x NSK 6900 - 50 ea for front hub.
