Anyone here uses Madoux Explorer na wheelset..according to Ross yung hubs ay gawa daw ng Mavic at Sapim ang spokes niya..sealed bearing na rin... magaan din siya at not to mention 5k lang...

Mura yan bro, ano weight?

Between amclass 29 and deore xt 29'wheelset, which one will you choose? Almost same kasi ang price. Been thinking of upgrading my mt55, para medyo gumaan itong steel 29er ko.

i'd get the amclass.

pros:
6 holes rotors, mas madaming options
cartridge bearings
lighter than xt

cons:
the xt has a better rim tape

Mga sir recommend naman po kayo ng rim na swak sa budget. Ang budget ko ay 2-3.5k. 36 holes po sana. kasi kakabitan ko ng 36 holes yung GT timberline ko. Hehe. Thanks!

Might be a little over 1600 grams. I just built a hope pillar crest set and it weighed exactly 1600 grams on a park tool scale. 730 grams for the front and 870 grams for the rear. The bike store weighed the pillar triple butted spokes against the revos (on a counter top scale) and the pillars came out slightly lighter.

Stars aero rim or power play rims(yung pang 700c)
Shimano non series bolt type hubs
Maxxis aspen 2.1 front and rear
Maxxis interior presta valve type
Disc breaks

Pwede kaya ito sir? XC mostly ako.

Planning to upgrade my Giant SXC-29er wheelset to something lighter. Any suggestions po? Also, how will I know my rear thru axle size? Yung front thru axle ko po kc sabi sa specs ng Giant website is 15mm. Magkapareho po ba yung front and rear thru axle sizes? My rig is an Anthem X 29er 4 po.

Thanks!

American Classic is Value for Money - 18k for a complete wheelset of GREAT build quality (first hand trail experience - I was 250lbs before) that NEVER needs truing (more than 2 years old of 2-3x week trail riding) is hard to find these days. If you have money to burn, there are a lot of MORE expensive stuff but then again, as I said, it's just money you burn.

Thru axle size? You can always measure. Measure the axle/spindle/skewer that goes thru your hub. It's usually 15mm in front and 9mm at the rear. Also, check the website of Giant and find your bike model there. BTW, the front and rear axle size are USUALLY different. Cheers!
