Sirs,
Thanks.

pareho lang, you're monitoring your heart rate regardless of the activity. so kung meron ka nang ginagamit for cycling...same lang yan.
as for reliable HRM.....meron sa HMR, search mo lang sila sa google. walang chest strap, kaso syempre may drawback...which is the accuracy. kasi it will rely on your pulse at the wrist. btw...wala pa akong nakita na HRM na nasa waist ang strap, hi hi hi

you got your standard Polar or Garmin HRMs, ranges from 6k up ata, depends on features that you want. Nike and Adidas (MiCoach) also has their own versions.
HRM is a big help to help you stay on track on your training, to get you to train at the right intensity at right duration. Therefore, without any robust training plan, it's not really that useful except as FYI. For MTB lalo na, if you plan to use on regular rides, I don't think it's that useful also since your HR will spike depending on the terrain (minsan DH run papalo yan). Again, useful for FYI or if you have a heart condition or something where you can't exert yourself too much. Most of the specialty running shops will carry diff HRM brands.

Im currently using Oregon Scientific hrm, may speed and distance measurement na din.
So far ok naman reading nya.Meron nga lang chest strap, na andun ata yung built in pedometer pang sukat nung speed and distance. Nabili ko sa HMR Phils sa halagang less than 1k (australian and us surplus kasi mga gamit dun). Tantananan! Try googling them, meron silang mga strapless hmr including yung brand na Mio.
