Gift giving this coming Xmas

Hi guys. A few weeks ago we went to PURAY Falls and have enjoyed the nature very much. While enjoying our ride, I noticed some children carrying sacks of charcoal and most of them don't have any slippers on. If you have tried going to PURAY, you will notice there are parts of the trails that has a lot rocks kaya I naisip ko ang hirap talaga. I can't imagine how hard they are living their childhood lives are while some of my niece and nephews has so many unwanted slippers, shoes shirts and toys! I thought this unwanted things could bring joy to these poor kids.

I'm new to MTB and I don't know if there is an event like these that happens yearly. Matagal pa pasko, but hey maybe if we announce it soon maybe we can get a lot of volunteers/donors to participate so we can start collecting those old toys that our kids are throwing away. It doesn't necessarily need to be in PURAY, any other place where those things that we consider trash will make someone else happy.

@anthrax: problem wala pa ko experience sa mga ganitong klase ng event. Baka po meron gusto tumulong sakin magorganize dyan..

There is an Gift Giving Bike ride this coming Dec 2 2012, i think it is organize by some other PMTB Groups Like Team Adventureros, Biker Friends and others, if you are willing everybody are welcome to join po.

When: 2 Dec. 2012
Where: Angat Dam (Dumagat Tribe)

Meet up: Chowking Lagro QC. (near Fatima University)
Time: 6 AM

Meet up: Bigte Rotunda (Norzagaray, Bulacan)
Time: around 7-8 am

What to bring for Donation: as suggested Pair of Slippier, Toys, Basic food, Toiletries etc.. and most importantly it comes from the heart.

also there will be a 100 peso fee to be collected at Bigte Crossing, ito ay para po sa Lunch ng lahat ng riders at mga tao na nagparticipate sa ride for a cause, ang usual menu po is naglalakihang pla pla at tilapia na inihaw na huli sa angat Dam.

reminder lang po na ang Angat Dam is restricted lamang na lugar kaya po kailangan na mabilang ni Kapitan na isa sa mga Organizer kung ilan po ang lahat na makakapasok sa lugar.
