Wow! Naglaway ako. I have a vintage road bike project ongoing as well. I pan to stip to metal then shoot with clear. Just dont know if its a good idea...

hi coy, we met kanina sa dimalupig trail, im the friend of arnel from marcelo. yup everything they said was true. keep the original paint, have it retouched, have the parts reposlished, repacked etc. the tires are 27in and are still available in some stores. looks like you still have all the parts there. nandyan pa ba yun brake levers i presume because the bar looks like was kept inside. we can bring it to mar palisoc in sucat. samahan kita minsan para maka mura ka. he is the mechanic of renato dolosa and other veteran road racers sa tour of luzon and the marlboro tour.. he is old school and still has the tools for old campy parts. he also paints frames. half the price lang compared to the others pero retouch lang yan kaya masmura. magaling na mura pa, lalo na mag build the wheelset. it takes years before i bring back my wheels to be trued again. here is my no. 09194276641 contact if you are intrested. question pala... where did your dad bike before? baka may gruppo siya sa paranque. baka nakasama ko na yan before when i was still young.

my classic roadie din dad ko before naka hang lang sa wall since bata ako then when i decided to try biking again binalikan ko sa bahay namin unfortunately pinamigay na ng dad ko sa carpetero nya! grr sayang..

Wow jackpot yan..Classic vintage road bike na Campagnolo, they were expensive and still are . Pang Tour de France or Tour of Luzon ang set up niya. Bka makuha pa sa sanding yun mga rusted parts. May kilala ako magaling din mag restore, Mark Astilla, check mo sa FB may account cya dun. Good luck. By the way i got an old set of 700c Campagnolo rims and hubs, pde din pala ikasa yun Shimano gears dun althou ayus yan sayu dahil parehas Campy ang mga piyesa. Swabe at tahimik ang takbo..

im still thinking if papa repaint ko pa siya and have the decals copied na lang. the crome sa frame looks really bad and yung fork medjo masama na din. but bahala na.

guys know where i can get a decent 27" tires?

The paint still looks good ( wag mo na galawin para original talaga) Yun fork pde mo pa re-chrome yan, yun sa frame niya, hanap ka ng magaling mag re-touch ng chrome ( may nabibili ba dyn na ala bosny na chrome paint). ganda talaga- old school roadie.

Good day sir I too. Am restoring my dads retro road bike Rossin made in italy with columbus frame tubing campagnolo record C groupset I have two campy tubular wheelsets and is undecided which to use. the campy mavic champion rims, same rims you have or the araya aero wheelset need to find the toe clips and buy new tublular tires.

yup,youre right about that sir.kaya lang if you keep on upgrading with newer components in the end bagong bike na kakalabasan.mahirap na kasi hanapan ng mga parts fit doon sa panahon niya.

besides,masarap pang street bike ang mga fliptop gears.
