i use panaracer inner tubes..i have 1.95 tires but my tubes are for something of a smaller width ( pang 1.5) lang ata... why is that you ask? sayang kasi yung weight savings =)

o also recommend CST and TOXIC tubes...ok siya at hindi din kamahalan..

@corollafreak, kung delikado...i don't think it will even be released in the market.

dami nang nag-tubeless, lalo on the DH scene, para walang pinch flat.

@corollafreak, OT pero note lang. in theory it's better kung tubeless na ang wheelset mo and tires. pero you can convert your conventional wheelset to tubeless, may mga conversion kits available. thing is....it's better to have tubeless tires, they're a bit heavier though due to thicker sidewalls.

@ Sir Anthrax - huh? so that means converting into a tubeless tire will result in my bike getting heavier? so mas ok ang may tube if my objective is to lessen my bike's weight? Are nevegals ok to be converted into tubeless?

the tires are heavier. pero overall weight, i have no idea. prolly lighter ang tubeless.

nevegal? err...try to check the threads, notorious ang ibang kenda models sa paglobo when exposed to the sealant. ang moral lesson, use tubeless tires if you're going tubeless, regardless kung conversion or not.

add ko lang po para walang confusion:

Mas maganda ang TUBELESS READY TIRES vs. TUBELESS TIRES (or UST TIRES). Kung true tubeless tires, sobrang bigat yan dahil it's designed to be used even without sealant. For tubeless ready tires, the carcass is basically the same -- slightly beefed up but the big difference is in the tire bead which is stronger to avoid blow-offs. Uso na ang tubeless ready (TLR) tires sa Schwalbe (Pacestar), Bontrager, Maxxis (LUST), Continental (RaceSport), Geax (TNT). Kenda's version is SRC. Baka UST tire yan which is unnecessarily heavy. Make sure it's tubeless ready only to lessen unnecessary weight.

Here's my feedback on Bontrager Race X-Lite Tubes (26 x 1.90 - 2.125, 0.6mm thick, 120-130g)

Discipline: Aggressive Cross Country
Rider Weight: 125lbs

Front Tire: 26 x 2.1 Schwalbe Racing Ralph
Rear Tire: 26 x 1.95 Maxxis Crossmark
Rim Tape: Da bomb
Rim: Alexrims XD-Lite
Tire Pressure: 30-35psi Front / 40-45psi Rear

3% Urban Assault (gutter drops/step-ups, stairs, humps)
14% Trail/Off-Road (HardPacked, Rock Garden, pot holes)
83% Road (cement/asphalt)
no flood or river crossings yet...

after 1 month of Riding, ito mga "jackpots ko"

FRONT:
1. 1/2 an inch long sharp glass

REAR:
1. Hair-like strand of shifter cable
2. Alambre or Spring? na kasing taba ng sampayan
3. 2 Pinch Flats

1. Square Edge bump. Sinadya ko talgang daanan ng mabilis. Then after a while, malambot na.

Maxxis HighRoller 26 x 2.3
With Standard 26x 1.95-2.3 Tubes

All punctures were repaired using patch kit (glue type).
All patches are still holding up...

Another thing...
Yes may maliit na punit but not punctured...

Now, i'm testing 26x1.25-1.4 tubes.
Mas makapal kaysa sa X-Lite...

Lesson Learned:

not sure if 180grams for a tube is light. ganon yung weight ng schwalbe tube for 26 (schraeder).

what i like about schwalbe tubes is the range of use: rated from 1.5-2.5inch tires. full-metal valve din just like continental. meron ding lock ring just like its presta counterpart.

180 grams is heavy for a 26" tube. Gamit ko dati sa 26 Giant atsaka Bontrager X-Lite around 125 grams. Matibay naman. Ngayon ang Giant mabigat na -- Kenda na yata ang tatak kahit Giant ang box.

Overall mabigat ang Schwalbe inner tubes. I have a 29er Schwalbe Ultralight tube (Around 125 grams also) that I carry around as a spare. I haven't needed it yet.

My present tubes are CST and Q-tubes. Similar weights at around 180grams. That's light enough for a 29er tube. Very durable so far. I threw out one CST tube after 2 years only because I didn't want to keep using an old tube. It's patch (from a faulty rim tape puncture) was beginning to come off also.
