![]() I jog on Tripler Army Medical Center Oval Track for three miles 6X a week at a 5 minute pace for every 400 meters. That comes out to be 20 minutes pace for one mile. Or 60 minutes pace for three miles. Ang bagal diba. Very slow jogging talaga. Sometimes. I push myself by sprinting for 100 meters and jogging slow for next 300 meters around the 400 meters oval track. I wish mayroon oval track near my Fairview abode. Malaki rin ang benefit ng oval track for training purposes. Oval tracks the likes of Amoranto Stadium in Kyusi, Ultra Oval Track in Pasig, and Rizal Coliseum in Manila malalayo sa amin sa Farview. Mayroon sa UP Diliman. Queso ang track and field oval nila doon ay lupa. Kung umuulan maputik. That is why ganoon ko na lang pinagsasamantalahan dito ang 400 meters oval track ng Tripler Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Apr 23 Mon. Jog for 60 minutes in Tripler Army Medical Center Track Oval Honolulu. Lift weights in base gym for one hour right after jogging.
Apr 24 Tues. Swim for 35 minutes in Tripler Olympic-size swimming pool. Dry sauna for 15 minutes immediately after swimming. Apr 25 Wed. Jog for 60 minutes in same track oval. Lift weights same gym for one hour right after jogging. Apr 27 Fri. Bike for 60 kms around Waikiki-Pearl Harbor. Apr 28 Sat. Bike for 60 kms on northern shores of Honolulu. *Note Above jogging/swimming/biking/resistance cross training are done at a 63y.o. senior citizen pace. Where the goal is nagpapasarap-sarap na lang. Easy-easy. Nothing fast. No records to break. Kung baga sa uphilling - "One-two. One-two". Because I happen to reside inside the sprawling base of Tripler Army Medical Center where the biggest Veterans Hospital in the Pacific and Aged Care Homes for Veterans are located. I see lots of 60 and above fellow veterans who are not as mobile and as independent and as healthy as I am. In fact. Most of them are disabled already. Using wheelchairs and canes. It is an eye opener. Of how healthy I stayed. All because of my passion for 21 years of continues MTBiking.

Natawa talaga ako sa pinapawisang itlog na naging ala malasado na. Bago yun.
Saan lugawan ko kaya pwede orderin yun? ![]() Karanasan ko naman sa mga posted Fun/EB Rides ng PMTB. It does not matter whether you are newbie or veteran, young or senior citizen rider, strong or weak biker, wala kasi tayong iwanan talaga. As a senior citizen biker, I always assume the sweeper position. Not because I am stronger. And thus so I can sweep weaker riders. But more so because of the prevailing `walang iwanan policy` we discipline our Fun/EB Rides with. Aabutin ko rin ang trailmaster group eventually. Kasi humihintay naman stronger riders sa mga designated pit stop points. Making headcount as we catch up. And thus assuring every rider is accounted for from start to finish of the ride. ![]() Siempre. As a Golden Biker. It helps to do above triathlete workout of swimming biking running. Performing within the limit of our aging capacity. Solely para maiwasan ang kumakapit na sakit sa mga Lolo natin dito sa PMTB.
