i was 235-240 in the before pic.. 190 yata sa after.. now im around 185. i stopped losing weight na.. but somehow, lumuluwag pa din mga damit ko

Hi, share ko lang fat loss ko..
Last May 2011 naexperienced ko worst happening sa buhay ko, I was in my car waiting for my wife para sunduin siya, biglang naramdaman ko na nahihilo ako then nararamdaman ko na dumidilim na lahat(nakakatakot yung feeling), so ginawa ko lumabas kaagad ako ng kotse, lakad ng mabilis while Praying, after 30 minutes of walking and Praying Medyo ok na ako, Thank God. After 2 days bago pa Lang ako nag pa blood pressure hehe pasaway, grabe may bp is 170/?... After nun start na ako ng fat loss journey ko.. May 29 2011 - 315 lbs. Now after 9 months of proper eating and exercise March 17 2012 - 203 lbs.

I lost 8 pounds since I started MTB and Running January 2012
From 160 to 152 and still eyeing for 145. This way mas makakatipid ako kasi hindi na ako bibili ng bagong racing suit ![]() Hindi na din ako bibibli ng mga bagong damit kasi kasya na ulit.

I've been thrusting my bike crank for more than a year now. I do 10 kms every other day(5km uphill and 5km downhill). Sometimes, I cover 40 kms when my mind prompts me to. Before I did that, my body weight was 63 kg. Wonder of all wonders when I stepped on a weighing scale last week, I gained 3 kg. My waist line didn't change and my clothing fits me the same but I feel fitter. Anyone had the same experience?

So here is my share
![]() Started July 2010 at 186 lbs. got back on the saddle because I failed my annual physical exams big time. Wasn’t even able to finish the treadmill test. The before pic though was around December of 2010 siguro I weight around 175 at that time. Starting weight - 186 July 2010 Waist Line - 38 ![]() Current Weight - 146 to 150 depends on how much i eat weekdays, but after long weekend ride it goes down to 145-146 Current Waistline - 33 At pinugay ![]() I think I'm happy at where I am right now. Certainly feel stronger and stamina is way up there. It took 18 months or so, to get to my current state. During my first maybe 4 months in to biking, I didn't go on a diet. When I got to 170 it hit a plateau for a couple of months. Then I started eating more veggies and less fat. I also ordered half rice during my lunch meals, and when I finished that half rice, a mental battle goes on whether to order the other half or not. “To not” won maybe 60% of the time . I guess what also helped was avoiding really fatty food. I use to love the last bite of barb-q because it’s usually all fat. And pork chops dati tinitipid ko yung fat so that every spoon full of lean meat came with a portion of that yummy fat. Ganun din sa nilaga. Every spoonful of rice had to come with meat, and fat, and a dash of patis. Yummy! Since I left out that fat from the spoonfuls here we are then, 146-148 stable most of the week. Friday night I might weigh around 149-150 if I had double servings of rice and some beer . Exercise regimen? I use to bike 30 mins in the morning up “manga antipolo” 3-4 times a week. Quickie lang ba before work. Then weekend long rides (half day) maarat. But when I discovered we had a shower at work, I now do 4-5 times a week bike to work lower antipolo to makati. 42 kms round trip, 1hr to office 1hr back. And then weekend long rides, whole day Saturday, and sometimes I can still squeeze in half day ride Sundays.

204 lbs today. bike and jog around 5 times a week. 45min/exercise day. do cross train n para hindi mabored . Minimal food n sa gabi. still enjoying the junk food as reward pero moderation na lang. lost total of 31 lbs starting aug 2011. masarap n magastos sa damit. hindi n s max wear namimili. fro 2xl to xl to l, baka maging medium pa.

Ang bilis ah, ako naman from 190 din last December'11 then kahapon lang nag timbang ako i'm now at 170. Bike and diet combined na yun, then yung pants na sukat sa waistline ko is nasa 36 na, dati 38 hehe. ![]()

Nice inspiring stories..
Plan ko rin add ang biking sa sports ko from basketball at running kaso masyado nabbugbog heels ko kaya try naman ako iba hehe.. I'm 5'8 at 180+ naglalaro ang weight ko pero ideal is 165.. May discpline na ako sa food actually I started avoiding meat this year (beef and pork)

2months from 195 - to 180 ( started May 2012 ) and still dropping. Target weight is around 155 - 160lbs for my height of 5'5.
The good thing was, I didn't reduced the volume of what I'm eating but while moving forward I feel being full when taking in my usual food consumption. But the best thing was, I am released from the bondage of smoking. Cheers!

just started biking...was 224lbs last week
now 220lbs....hoping i keep this up until arthritis gets me.......need to reduce weight for the relieve the joints of the extra weight without the impact thanks for the inspiring updates...hope i can do this

Let me share mine. When I joined the company where I am working right now 7 years ago. My weight was 175 lbs. My boss assured me that hindi ako magugutom sa sa pag-stay ko. And true enough after 1 year I gained weight. Two years ago, I weighed 201 lbs.(my heaviest) which affected my knees. Then I did some biking twice a week. After 3 weeks my weight was down to 195 lbs. Then last year (August 2011) I started to get more serious with my weight loss so I did biking five times a week with more intensity (fast paced) after work. After three more weeks my weight from 192 lbs. went down to 179 lbs. The last time I checked my weight it was 182 lbs. I also lessened my intake of rice during dinner. I stand 5'10, so I still eat foods with meat because of my frame. May weight raw na dapat i-maintain para hindi ma-classify na under or overweight.
It was a fulfillment on my part kasi akala hindi ko na masusuot yung mga luma kong pants. There came a time kasi when I started wearing pants with a waste line of 38. But because of biking I got my college waist line of 33 back. No more flabs. I was about to enroll sa mga weight loss programs ng mga sikat na gym. Kayang-kaya pala sa kakapadyak!
