kung nag google ka ng:

how are bike sizes determined

http://www.ehow.com/how_2095837_unde...le-sizing.html

normally measured ang bike size by the seat tube. at hindi taas ng seatpost. then again, may daya na ng konti yun, kasi ang mas tamang sukatan is yung effective toptube length. kahit pareho ng length ng seat tube, depende sa slope ng top tube, iba ang sukat ng effective top tube length which is the center of the headtube to the center of the seatpost.

kung may malapit na bike shop sa inyo eh malamang yun din ang isasagot, he he he.

makikita mo ang result na 'to

not really the seat tube, pero. draw a parallel line from the ground starting from the headtube. tapos it should meet with the center of where the seat tube points, which is most likely occupied by your seat post. this is the effective top tube length.

pero ang batayan ng manufacturers is the length of the seat tube.

anyway, there's always bike fitting, which is best.

At 5'10" you would be a medium meaning size 17 or 18 on most bike brands.

Iba-ibang bike brands, iba-iba din ang sizing. Safe bet is kung sakyan mo talga ang bike. Kasi kahit na may kasabay kang 5'10" din ang height, it doesn't necessarily mean na you will both would fit in the same frame size. Important din that you know your standover height then you will know what size is apprpriate for you.

Top tube and seat tube measurements ang usual reference points ng frame measurements.
