Mercury is currently the top model in Spyder’s Bicycle helmet lineup. It features sweeping aerodynamic lines and sleek euro styling. It also boasts of Spyder’s MegaFlo ventilation system that boast of 16 strategically positioned vents that maintain a constant flow of cool air to keep temperatures low to optimize the rider’s performance. An innovative feature of this model is the use of alloy and carbon fiber inserts that give the helmet maximum strength at the least weight. These inserts allow the inner shell to be profiled lower than most helmets creating less bulk, and vents to be made a bit wider for even better airflow.
The edgy styling of Trax can turn a lot of heads. The helmet features huge horizontal rear vents and a rear “wing”. It also provides a fuller coverage for the back of the head for added safety. Like the Mercury road helmet, this mountain bike-specific helmet features alloy inserts for added toughness.
