Not knowing the guidelines is not an excuse.
The rules are made to keep this forum clean and friendly.
If you don't like any of these rules then you may leave the forum anytime.
NOTE: If the messages you post in this forum violate any of the Forum Guidelines stated below, your messages will be deleted or locked at the discretion of the administrator and/or the moderators without notice. The administrators and the moderators are NOT required to provide a public/private explanation why a post/message has been locked/moved/merged or deleted.
General Forum Rules
- Before you post new threads, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DO A SEARCH BEFORE CREATING NEW THREAD to avoid cluttering the board with redundant thread. All redundant threads will either be merged or removed.

- You are Responsible for your own post, no one else!
- We take the "be polite" rule VERY seriously! We do not tolerate ANY rudeness, profane or offensive language whatsoever. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be suspended or banned.
- Show respect for others' views & opinions and they'll respect you.
- Remember, Use of this forum is a privilege, not a right.
- Proper nettiquette is required for participation in PinoyMTBiker Community.
- Administrators' and moderators' decisions are absolute and final. Do not dispute a decision publicly with staff members. Any posts found to be disputing decisions made by staff members will be removed. If you feel, however, that a decision is unjust or unfair, please contact an Administrator directly.
- Limit your image size, maximum of 640X480 only, bigger than that should post only as URL or LINK or thumbnail form of click to enlarge.
- ENGLISH is encouraged The reason behind this is for the other non-Filipino members to understand your posts.
- No advertising/trading at Discussion Threads/Shoutbox - This includes any seller/sponsors or anyone with a financial interest or in a partnership with a company to promote their own product and services. The discussion forum is for information exchange, not for trading/selling. We do not allow the use of forum to advertise retail products or go against other forum rules. We support learning of new products but please do not give a sales pitch here. This policy encourages the regular hobbyist to post. It also helps support our sponsors, who in turn help make this site possible.
- No commercial advertising is permitted. Any posts deemed to be self promotion, advertising, or spam can and will be removed. Posting and making excessive, inappropriate and unnecessary references to your products and websites is self promotion.
- Commercial Selling is only allowed for affiliates and sponsors only. (On their own forum) To protect the our affiliates and sponsors, seller who trades or supplies a large quantity of stocks for sale cannot post or sell in this forum unless he/she is an affiliate or sponsor..
- Commercial selling is when a person...
- Owns or works for a bikeshop / wholesaler / importer / distributor / reseller
- Sells for other Commercial Sellers.
- Anyone with a financial interest or in a partnership with a company.
- Seller's items that are of commercial quantities.
- No price = No Ads @ Trade Central / Commercial Seller are not allowed to post ADS.
- No advertisement thru links in avatars and signatures(Other than Sponsors).
- Any member with attempt to redirect or force member to visit another site can be subjected to ban.
- Advertisement of illicit sites, competitor forums, inappropriate websites, scamming sites, phishing sites, explicit forums is prohibited.
- Posting of pictures of riders riding without a helmet is not allowed.
- Board Rules is applied to Shoutbox as well.
- Stay on topic as much as possible. All Off-Topics/SPAM/Thread Drift/Smilies/Non-sense post will be deleted.
- Please do not use excessive symbols, large fonts, colored fonts, smilies or reply using emoticons only.
- ALL CAPS / TEXT SPEAK / TEXT LINGO is NOT ALLOWED - Reading abbreviated or shortened words or better known as text lingo is irritating.
- Colored/Large(font) post can only be use for title not for whole post / reply.
- Each member is allowed ONE (1) login account only. Registering and using multiple accounts is prohibited. Sharing, transferring, borrowing, or acquiring ownership of accounts is likewise prohibited and subjected for deletion and permanent banning.
- Regarding Username Changes - This community is based on trust and knowing your fellow member. If people are changing names, this can confuse that trust and reliability. Therefore, we will not change anybody's username.
- Please try to be as specific as possible in choosing a title for your post. This not only helps us to get an idea of the content, it also helps to find a topic faster which should result in quicker replies.
- Remember that this community is only as good as you make it. The community members get all the credit for making this a worthwhile place to visit.
- Bike Gallery is for posting your personal bikes, not bikeshop's bikes.
- Moderators won't catch every violation so please use report button for site violation/issue.
- Avoid cross-posting / double-posting of threads, messages, questions or "bump" your thread up the listing.
- Discussion/selling of illegal activities such as: software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations or posts that infringe any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets or proprietary right(s) of any party are not allowed.
- Posting ADS for firearms and/or deadly weapons, pharmaceutical products, and fake products is not allowed.
We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed of current Site Rules.
